On Friday Brian and I went to NYC for the day. We got a babysitter for the WHOLE day, drove with some friends the 2 hours to the city and had a blast! It’s been 9 years since we were both last in the city. But this is was our first time experiencing it together. From the ferry ride, to sharing a bagel, to sitting in Central Park, to eating the most amazing burger at a local restaurant in Brooklyn we loved every minute of it. My favorite part of the day was going to the Mood fabric store, which is the same store the designers from Project Runway go to. It was so fun being in the store, picturing the designers running around, grabbing things that soon turn into these amazing outfits! I vicariously lived through them and bought some fabric that hopefully will turn into a simple skirt:) I’m a small town girl but I love the city life, atleast for a short time. When I’m in the city I like to think about what my life would look like. How different it would be?

Even though we experienced all of these fun things in the big city the best part of the day was being with Brian. Extended times of just the two of us are limited so this was such a treat. It was a great reminder of how much I love who Brian is and how much I just love being with him. No matter where we are:)
