Sometimes I think its fun to take a peek into each others real worlds. We “read” all about each other often but we don’t often get to “see” that we all are normal people doing normal things each and every day. So today here is a peek into what my morning was looking like.
Although we got off to a little rough start. Soon enough all 3 kids were cuddling together on the couch.
Laundry was started rather quickly.
Our menu for the week that is displayed on our pantry door. I may or may not stick to it, the week will tell. But at least I have an idea.
I found a little motivation to decorate for Easter this weekend. Going with minimal this year.
This is the girls closet. Every morning they are pointing to the dress they want to wear for the day. Pants are never a request. Why don’t I put their dresses where they can reach them?
This is my favorite wall in our home as of right now. I love the colors, the pictures, the whole bit.
Pile of sewing stuff on our bedroom floor. I have not worked on the girls quilt for awhile. Plans for a craft night this week will give me opportunity to start once again.
Oh, look more laundry on the bed. Sigh.
Just normal, everyday life here today that I am so blessed to have.
How about you? What’s going on at your house today?
I love this idea. I think my house looks very similar to yours on a daily basis. I think it’s nice to see how another busy mom goes throughout the day. With my little ones at home I often feel like I’m just trying to keep my head above water cleaning up after the kiddos, doing laundry, more laundry, and then the extras such as cleaning windows, scrubbing floors, not to mention making dinner, and running kids/doing errands. Sometimes I have felt like surely other moms have it more “together” than I do. But I guess we all have our piles of projects to get to and laundry that needs to be folded on our bed. By the way, your house is as cute as a button!
What a fun look around your house. The girls’ closet and the Easter mantle made me smile. It’s funny — I thought the same thing about the girls’ dresses — either way *you* will be the one rehanging them at the end of the day, so it doesn’t really matter at what level they hang. Happy Monday!
I love, love this! I have piles of laundry all over the place, too. It is funny, I was honestly thinking about that quilt yesterday for some reason!! You are such a crafty gal, love the wall o’ pics!!
Aubrey, you are so lucky to be at home with your kids. Last week I saw Caitlin Sunday night and not again for over 20 minutes until Saturday am. Worked 57.5 hours and on top of that on call. Take advantage of every moment, even as ordinary as it might seem.
I’m sorry Julie, that sounds really hard. I do appreciate even the ordinary days because I know a lot people don’t have that like you. I’m praying that you weeks in the very near future that you get to see your sweet girl lots more!
Well I’m glad you are thinking about my quilt too. You can keep me accountable to finish it! Maybe spring break?
Thanks for commenting Leah! Yep, we all have our piles and we all are trying to stay above water whether we show it to others or not. Hope you are feeling well with baby #4 coming along soon! So excited for you!
That’s the thikning of a creative mind
